The MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) is a 6-week long programme spread across six months for media practitioners in the Nigerian space. The programme will increase the knowledge and skill base of the participants and help them understand the changing media landscape, and how to effectively use technology to create impactful media content.

All accepted candidates will spend 33 days in class in the course of the training.

Candidates will be tutored at the MTN Nigeria Headquarters and MTN Group Headquarters.

MTN Nigeria and Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) announced on April 27, 2022, the launch of the MTN Media Innovation Programme (MTN MIP), which will be run by PAU’s School of Media and Communication (SMC). The six-month, fully funded fellowship for Nigerian media practitioners is designed to support the sustainable development of the nation’s changing media scene. It is open to media practitioners across the spectrum, including print, electronic, online platforms and social media content creators.

This is the second edition of the programme, launched in 2022, to support media practitioners and promote understanding of the rapidly changing media landscape.
The School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University has commenced the training of 20 fellows selected from thousands of media professionals who applied for the second run of the MTN Media Innovation Programme. Through the six-week-long programme, spread across six months, the fellows will gain the requisite skills and knowledge needed to make a real impact in the industry and to adapt to our changing realities through expert guidance, mentorship, and a supportive community of fellow media professionals.
